YOU'LL LAUGH WITH RACHEL IF YOU'VE CRIED BEFORE
Ana L. Guzmán
"The worse life is, the better the comedy." Thus believes Rachel Arieff, an American comic for whom taboo topics don't exist. Her show is called "Cómo ser feliz todo el tiempo", but "the name is a trick, I don't believe it's possible to be happy all the time". Nevertheless, she prefers to treat life with a sense of humor and to "talk about what others don't dare". After success in the United States, Rachel moved to Barcelona, where she perfected the language. "I felt like an extraterrestrial in a strange society". Now she wants to make you laugh.
A DIFFERENT KIND OF SHOW
If you like her show, don't get up until the end.
"My humor is very opinionatetd, and not everyone likes that. There have been some that have gotten up and left. The true 'fans' are those that wait to kiss you after the show. They're usually the elderly!" Rachel tells Qué!
Another way of viewing life
"We spend most of our lives complaining and feeling unhappy. In my show, I talk about my personal misfortunes because it's better to laugh at yourself and at the bad things that happen to you."
