"This artist—outspoken and acid-tongued—is a trilingual American (Catalan, Spanish, and English). A woman who takes the initiative, speaks her mind plainly, and seizes the first opportunity to put on her own show, she has been labeled with all sorts of epithets—including "bad woman" and "abnormal"—precisely because she breaks free from the conventional, "proper" mold.
"Rachel Arieff certainly doesn't lack a sense of humor. She uses it to play with our perceptions of what constitutes a "good" woman versus a "bad" one—all viewed through the prism of her wild, zany humor and interspersed with songs like *Gilipollas* (Asshole), *Me pasaste ladillas* (You Gave Me Crabs), and *Pervertido en la playa nudista* (Pervert at the Nudist Beach). You know what to expect when you come to see an artist who, after being called "bad" and "abnormal," embraces those labels and transforms them into a show you shouldn't miss—especially if you aren't yet familiar with this resourceful showwoman and prominent figure of the underground scene."
Who is Rachel Arieff?
Rooted in the stand-up comedy scenes of New York and Los Angeles, Rachel Arieff is an experienced trilingual comedian (English, Spanish, Catalan). An American who has lived in Barcelona for over 20 years, she made a name for herself in Spain through her numerous Spanish-language monologues that lead her to appear on Paramount Comedy, and her legendary Anti-Karaoke parties.

Off the charts
Rachel is an extraordinary person, and her show is even more so. No one should miss it. She has great humor; I've been following her for years and years, and she never ceases to amaze me and make me laugh. In fact, the more you get to know her, the more you enjoy her show… Thank you, Raquel… we love you.

Brilliant, brutal, an enormous intelligence
Simply a brilliant, brutal monologue, delivered with tremendous comedic intelligence, where the irreverent humor connects us spontaneously and fascinatingly. I haven't laughed so much and so well in ages! Rachel is an amazing artist! Thank you for existing.

A very fun time
Anormala…a wonderful, eccentric, colorful, hilarious personality. We had a really fun time, with side-splitting songs. Abnormal is like that neighbor across the street with whom you end up feeling empowered, having a few glasses of wine and solving the world's problems. Don't miss it!!!! Highly, highly recommended!!!

The complete package
She is simply perfect. She never misses a beat! The complete package—comedic and, above all, consistently anti-Zionist. Super cool!

Pure personality
Rachel Arieff's show is pure personality, a spectacle unlike anything else, oozing authenticity from every pore. There are no copied formulas or prefabricated characters here: everything comes from the gut. Funny, chaotic, intelligent, biting, intimate, political… it all comes together in an hour that flies by. You laugh, you feel uncomfortable, you think… and you laugh again. If you want to see something truly original, with its own voice and without fear, don't hesitate for a second: You have to see "Anormala."

Great
I had a fantastic time with this monologue. Lots of laughs, it flies by. Fran really connects with the audience. I won't say any more so you'll be encouraged to discover it for yourself; it's well worth seeing the wonderful show woman Rachel Arieff in action.

Hysterical laughter
You've never seen anything like it, that's guaranteed. Hysterical laughter is also guaranteed. Rachel Arieff is our favorite freak.
Oh, and watch out for who gives you crabs tonight. It might be the last person you expect…

A marvel
A wonderful monologue! I'd seen others by this artist before, but with this show, Rachel has definitely outdone herself! Highly recommended!

You're going to be blown away
Politically incorrect humor with doses of irony and daring—very funny. Plus, the added bonus of improvised audience interaction and songs with lyrics you've never heard before that will blow your mind!
Highly recommended!!
