Rachel Arieff

Rachel Arieff and Mehdi Mahtaj have created The Arab and the Jew, a comedy show in English that brings together stand-up, sketch comedy, music, personal stories, and honest conversations about politics, identity, and Palestine.

Taking an anti-Zionist and pro-Palestinian position, Rachel and Mehdi challenge stereotypes, question common ideas, and explore the human side of the issues that divide us. They show that you can take a stand, ask difficult questions, and still laugh together.

Jewish identity and Zionism are not the same thing. People of all backgrounds can stand together for Palestinian freedom and against injustice.

With humor, music, and audience interaction, this is more than a comedy show. It’s a chance to laugh, think, and see things from a different perspective.

Come for the comedy. Stay for the conversation.
